Laivue: a band with a six-year history of noise-making from Jyväskylä, the near center of Finland. With their nameless firstborn, released by Ektro Records, they now join the ranks of artists with actual full lenght albums out there. During the years so far the band has kept a rather low profile, doing some gigs and recording a couple of demo CD's, but now the grass root days are over: the atmospheric pop, the determined experimentality and the almost disturbingly noisy rock, being the main elements Laivue has been associated with, have been carefully worked into a snappy whole, clocking in at almost 50 minutes and totally resembling its creator.

The soundscapes contained within the nine tracks of the album go through radical yet premeditated metamorphoses, escaping the conventionalities without breaking a sweat or losing focus; similarly, the lyrics create mental images according to their own rules, leaving the listener simultaenously bewildered and contented. These are the premises: the conclusion is left for the audience.
